Completed with Vol.11 Ch.9

Jay Jin is the headstrong teenage rebel, determined to prove she's serious about making art. J. Max is the tall debonair foreigner, in Korea on business, with more--much more--to his background than he lets on. On the surface, it would seem as though Jay and J. have nothing in common...until a chance encounter in a hotel lobby sparks a mysterious attraction. Will true love prove strong enough to overcome the language barrier, not to mention the thousands of miles separating two attractive people? Then there are the interventions of friends and family who think they know best... as well as a disastrous encounter with spicy chicken kebab! A giddy romantic fable for our ever-shrinking world, 100% Perfect Girl demonstrates the power of chemistry to conquer all.

...Yes, I think that Wann could have dispensed with such a dramatic build up to the obvious. We all knew Jay & Jarte loved each other but the several blank pages and sudden wakening from unconsciousness to that confession felt highly forced in regards to the characters. After the dramatic last chapter cliff hanger I was expecting more drama, but it came to nothing. I found that highly disappointing. I'm satisfied that the series ended on their confession to each other (FINALLY!) but it ultimately felt rushed and unnatural.
So far this series is scoring at about 6/10 for me.... at the beginning it was promising though.

Wann does have a habit of putting blank black pages. i notice that in her previous work, and they usually have a very dramatic effect which increases the tension n suspense (darkness=foreshadowing death). but she did go overboard this time. overall the ending was very sweet. I loved how the 'i also love u' was written such that it had an echoic effect.

OK! Like everyone's been saying, the blank,BLACK pages really PISSED me off..BUT (don't cut my head off here) I still think the ending wasn't that bad...I even thought it was kinda sweet actually. Although, I probably wouldn't be as OK with it if there WASN'T going to be an epilogue because I'm STILL not satisfied! I give the ending 2 stars, maybe more if the epilogue is any good.

Wah! I wish it had gone a little more into the epilogue at least. Then, at least, I would have felt a little more fulfilled from such an abrupt ending. What's with the chapters and chapters of the kidnap scene, just to rush the final scene with a cliche ending.
